Apeaz® is a proprietary Natural Health Product (NPN 80082618) issued a NPN by the government of Canada to be commercialized with approved claims: Temporarily relieves aches and pains or muscles and joints associated with one for more of the following: simple backache, lumbago, strains and sprains (involving muscles, tendons, and/or ligaments), and arthritis.
Camphor - A Terpenoid found in the wood of camphor laurel trees. Used to reduce pain and considered a counterirritant. When applied to the skin counterirritants cause irritation by stimulating nerve endings and relieving pain in the joints and muscles.
Methyl Salicylate & Menthol - An organic compound that works also works as a counterirritant alongside Menthol to cool and warm your skin. This helps to relieve muscle or joint pain caused by strains, Arthritis, bruising or backaches that are deep in your muscles, joints & tendons.
MSM / Methylsulfonylmethane - Helps to relieve (joint) pain associated with osteoarthritis
Recommended Dose (Adults)
Adults apply thinly and evenly to affected area up to 3-4 times per day. Rub and/or massage into skin until solution vanishes.
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
Do not: apply to wounds/damaged skin; tightly bandage, apply with external heat such as an electric heating pad. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if: you are pregnant or breast feeding; use beyond 7 days.
Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if: symptoms worsen or re-occur; Hypersensitivity, rashes, and/or burning discomfort have been known to occur. If you experience pain, swelling or blistering, stop use and get medical help right away. If overdose or accident ingestion occurs, call a Poison Control Center immediately.
